Flannery joined the DCMS coaching staff in January 2023, having played his final season with the Red Devils in the Fall of 2022.
In his time as a player at Dickinson, Flannery served as a 3-year captain and helped the team to 3 Centennial Conference Tournament appearances. He was an ever-present on the Centennial Conference Academic Honor Roll and graduated Magna Cum Laude with a B.A. in International Business & Management, and a minor in Economics.
Flannery’s coaching responsibilities include serving as the program’s recruiting coordinator, scouting & film analysis, and assisting Coach Chapoy in overseeing the team’s strength and conditioning program. Additionally, he is working with local club Eagle F.C. as the head coach of the multiple boys teams and as the assistant coach of the USL Women’s Team, taking part in the team’s historic run to the USL-W National Semi-Finals in 2023.
Flannery is currently pursuing a M.S. in Organizational Leadership and Development at Shippensburg University, as well as his USSF Licensing. A native of Annapolis, Maryland, he attended Saint Paul’s School for Boys and played club soccer for Baltimore Armour and Pipeline Soccer Club.
Tate joined the women’s soccer coaching staff in April 2024 after graduating from Dickinson and earning her undergraduate degree in May 2023. She spent the fall of 2023 at Drexel University, playing and working towards earning her Master’s degree in Sports Business.
During her playing career at Dickinson, Tate served as a two-year captain and helped lead the team to two Centennial Conference final appearances, as well as the NCAA Sweet Sixteen during her freshman campaign. She is a three-time First-Team All-Centennial selection, three-time Second-Team All-Region selection, Centennial Conference Rookie of the Year, and Centennial Conference Offensive Player of the Year.
Tate has joined the staff as an assistant coach and recruiting coordinator. In addition, she is taking leading roles in the team’s strength and conditioning program, scout and film review, and coordinating alumni relations events. She will also be coaching club soccer for Keystone FC while pursuing her USSF licensing.
A native of Carlisle, PA, Tate attended Carlisle High School and played club soccer for Keystone FC and Eagle FC.
